Is this legal?
NeverSub is a way for people who already know each other to organise and settle a shared cost. What you choose to share with your circle, and whether that is allowed, is between you and whoever you pay. We provide the circle, the record and the payments.
What stops someone taking my money and disappearing?
Money is held for the whole cycle rather than paid straight out, and there is a window after payment to raise a problem and get refunded. Circles are also built on verified communities, so members are not anonymous.
What does it cost?
Nothing to join the waitlist, and nothing extra on top of your share at launch.
I already use an app that tracks who owes what.
Then you already know the arithmetic was never the hard part. Those apps are a ledger — they tell you what you are owed and leave the collecting to you. Here, each person pays their share up front, it is held for the cycle, and it is released when the cycle has actually run. Nobody has to ask anybody for money.
How are credentials shared safely?
Hosts store room access in NeverSub, not in chat. It is encrypted at rest and only revealed through an authenticated server-side flow to eligible room members whose payment is already held in escrow or whose seat is active. Sharing it outside the room violates the room contract; that member can lose access, be removed from the room and be suspended from the platform.
What happens if someone leaves or misses the next payment?
The current cycle is already paid into escrow, so one missed reminder does not leave the host chasing money. If someone does not renew, their access can end for the next cycle and the seat can reopen for someone else.
What if a room does not work?
Raise it during the confirm-or-refund window. Money is still held, so NeverSub can refund members, freeze a payout or end the room instead of releasing funds. We cannot promise a third-party plan keeps working, but we can make the payment trail clear.
Do I need to know people already?
It helps, but no. You can join a verified community — your college or workplace — and find circles there.
How do I know a host is reliable?
Members build a record inside their community as they complete cycles, pay on time and host rooms, and you can see it before you join anything. Your money is also held in escrow regardless, so the record is a convenience rather than the thing protecting you.
